About Us
Eyes For The Future Inc. is an established non-profit in the United States with 501(c)(3) status. This organization was created by two high school students looking to make a difference in the world by providing eyewear to Malaysian students in need. All donations and proceeds will be used to provide proper ophthalmological evaluation and customized glasses for students in need.
What We Do
Eyes For The Future strives to provide ophthalmology evaluations and glasses for children in Malaysia. We are partnered with several ophthalmology clinics throughout Malaysia along with funding from our donors to help evaluate vision and issue glasses.
Who Are We?
Founder Dylan May
My name is Dylan May and I am a Senior at Centreville High School in Virginia. Being half Malaysian, I am given the privilege to visit Malaysia every year where I have witnessed the numerous challenges that the thousands of children living in poverty face. These experiences have deeply motivated me to create this nonprofit organization to help give these children a second chance. I am committed to raising funds to donate glasses to children affected by vision problems who can not afford them, giving them the opportunity to thrive academically and in their daily lives.
Hi! My name is Jonathan Zhang, I’m a Senior at Eagle High School in Idaho. I’ve always been blessed with access to proper eyewear, but I know that for many clear vision isn’t a guarantee. It’s simple to take sight for granted and I struggle to comprehend life without it. I strongly believe that everyone deserves the chance to see the world clearly and to experience its beauty. I hope to make a meaningful difference, one pair of glasses at a time.
